In an effort to understand the extent of AI's influence on art, music, and other creative domains, we conducted an experiment that tested internet users' ability to differentiate between AI-generated and human-created content. The results were both surprising and thought-provoking, shedding light on the challenges and potential risks associated with the rise of AI in various industries, including customer support. In this article, we will explore the main findings of our experiment and delve into the capabilities and limitations of AI, with a special focus on BestChat—an AI-powered live chatbot that aims to enhance customer interactions and support businesses.

In our experiment, we presented survey respondents with a diverse range of content, including photos, artworks, music, and texts, and asked them to identify whether each example was created by AI or a human.
